About
Sunset Memorial Park was founded in 1960. The original officers and directors included the Cropper's, the Hudson's, the Hall's, the Coates', the Harrison's, the Powell's, the Pruitt's, and the Trimper's. Set in Maryland's beautiful eastern shore in Worcester County, Sunset Memorial Park remains a premier final resting place for those in our community.
Families can select their burial estate in one of our four well planned gardens.
- Garden of Tomorrow
- Garden of Memories
- Garden of Rest
- Garden of Eternity
Each garden emanates from the beautiful azalea circle located midway of the cemetery drive. Pink and white dogwood trees also border the drive. Massive tapestry red brick posts mark the lasting entrance to this beautiful historical park-like cemetery.
Conveniently located between U.S. Highway 50 and State Route 707, with access to both, is another well planned feature of Sunset Memorial Park.
We offer traditional burials, cremation burials, as well as above ground burials in a designated area that has been arranged for mausoleums.
Sunset Memorial Park is a non-sectarian cemetery serving without limitations to church or religious preference.
